We’ve made a submission on the draft terms of reference for the environmental impact statement of the proposed China Stone Coal Project. We’ve called for changes to the ToR to:
- require cost benefit analysis
- require consideration of the marginal changes to coal consumption and greenhouse gas emissions
- ensure a decision is not based on input output analysis using outdated multipliers
